Strengths: 1. design is very good. 2. It toast very fast. 3. Save energy compared to full size oven.
Weaknesses: 1. It is a little small which means you can not use it for very large size pizza.
Summary: This is overall excellent japanese disigned kitchen applicant. I am very please with the toaster oven. It is the best one I have ever used. It cooks evenly and quickly.

I will give it five star for its quality.

Strengths: Good amount of control - useful for much more than just toast. Very sharp looking exterior.
Weaknesses: A little more complex to operate than a toaster. Makes me paranoid that you're instructed to unplug it when not in use.
Summary: I think this little thing is slick, and it's measured up to most of the hype that convinced me to buy it. It's great for small heating jobs, and it's worked great for me cooking the little veggie-meat versions of chicken nuggets and corndogs. I feel less guilty using this instead of zapping something in the microwave than I would if I had to heat up the whole oven to do some little item. Really slick, and the size profile fit right in on my countertop as a replacement to my two-slice the long way Cuisinart toaster.

Strengths: Fast cooking. No preheat time. lots of cooking options
Weaknesses: Very slight cooking unevenness from front to back.
Summary: So far I've been very happy with my panasonic ttoaster. it toasts quickly and well. It's handled bagels, toast, frozen pizza easily. It has a nice little tray and a toasting grate. It does light up brightly when cooking but it hasn't been too much of an inconvenience. I am concerned abouut cleaning goop from the bulb underneath but I haven't gotten to that point yet. I would recommend it.

Strengths: Fast & even cooking, easy controls, looks great.
Weaknesses: Actual compartment much smaller than toaster iteslf, unit gets very hot
Summary: This toaster is wonderful. After several bad toaster oven experiences, happy to find a solid toaster oven. This thing toasts like nobodies business. Also, great for frozen pizzas. My daughter is addicted to tater tots...cooks them perfectly in just a couple minutes. This thing is worth every penny.

Strengths: No need to pre-heat your oven to make all those fun snack foods like cheese sticks, mini pizzas, etc. Cooks items in half the time.
Weaknesses: Need to unplug it after every use. Gray is nice color but would like it in either white or black.
Summary: This is great for making toast, mini pizzas, cookies, and the list goes on. No need to turn on and pre-heat the oven. This great compact toaster cooks the food in half the time. I like it so much I bought another for my mother. It is that good.

Summary: I have two microwaves and a conventional oven. I wanted to try this oven after reading good reviews on other web sites. I was amazed to see how well this oven works. I warm up pizzas, frozen food, etc.

Strengths: Great even cooking
Weaknesses: Design is a little square but not really that ugly. I kind of like it. The light is bright as some have mentioned(but that doesn't bother us).
Summary: Once my wife tried this toaster all other toaster type units left the house. We have been using one of these for two years and it is going strong. I bought a backup just in case I needed it I could swap it out in a day. The reheating of food is awesome. Great thorough even warmup and cooking of food without burning. We will definitely never go back to a regular toaster again. Size is adequate inside. YOu always wish it were a little bigger, but then that would take up more counterspace. I highly recommend this unit, HIGHLY !

Strengths: Super Fast, Electronic Controls, Square Size (think Pizza!), Easy to clean, Well Built
Weaknesses: Cord comes out from the front side (instead of the back), poor documentation
Summary: It is a great toaster oven for the price. Built quality is great, should last for a long time. It cooks very fast, great for surface browning (like in toasts, garlic bread). Has electronic controls, which are accurate. Cooks quickly, evenly and thoroughly. Large size can accommodate 9 inch pizza or 6 bread slices. Looks cool (this is very subjective, some people love it, others hate it!).

Strengths: Lightweight, good-sized. Reliable and Consistent.
Weaknesses: Not the best looking appliance ever.
Summary: I recently bought my second (first for my parents) of this item and really like the FUNCTION of it, maybe not so much the FORM.

The toaster is almost cubelike in shape, but isn't really space wasting. It's no wider than the old school ones shorter ones. Infrared tech is pretty good in my opinion. It turns on immediately. Toasting is pretty consistent and the toaster can fit four not so giant pieces of bread at one time without mashing them in there.

Like some of the other reviews, how you view the toaster varies. It's not the best looking thing out there, but I'm glad they make it in silver so at least it matches my other stuff. It's not big enough to be a total eyesore and the function makes up for appearance as far as I'm concerned.

I use this appliance primarily for toasting, reheating, and baking frozen foods. I have and would continue to recommend this item to people.

Strengths: Very fast. Easily transported because of light weight.
Weaknesses: 1. A little too complicated for the old people. 2. the design is ugly 3. could have made the trays a little larger.
Summary: At first I didn't believe the FlashXpress technology but I believe it now. The reviews were true. I love my new oven, but the controls make it hard for my elderly parents to use so I also have a smaller regular toaster for them.

Strengths: FlashXpress Technology; Quality of Toasts; Lightning fast.
Weaknesses: Lack of crispiness on reheated stuff.
Summary: This is a great little appliance, that fits in perfectly with a busy lifestyle. The footprint is small, so even in my small counter-top area, it's found a nice spot... without knocking something else over. The fact that it starts cooking the minute you turn it on, is a great timesaver... and we owe that solely to the smart technology from the guys at Panasonic. It makes perfect toasts, and I'm sure other stuff that I am yet to try. I did notice that the frozen mozzarella sticks I tried reheating, didn't come out very crispy... albeit it was better than microwaving. Overall I am very happy, and hope to use it for a long time!

Strengths: FAST cooking time. Great for baking small items.
Weaknesses: The light stays on at all time when cooking The cooking temperature "dial" doesn't tell you whether it's F or C.
Summary: I have used this toaster for 3 things:

1) toasting - the automatic setting for toast is very useful, hit it and the toast is done perfectly. Very good for doing frozen waffles too.

2) breaded chicken strips. this toaster beats the regular oven, this doesn't have a pre-heat period, it heats up almost instantly. Strips were nicely done, just like a regular oven.

3) baked potato. cooking time is the same as in a regular oven, but if you are only cooking a small portion, it saves energy.

This is a very nicely designed toaster oven. I highly recommend it.

Strengths: Fast toasts
Weaknesses: Seem to toast the outside much faster than the inside. Possible problems for thick/bulky foods
Summary: Have had the toaster for 1 week now, no regrets. Very fast toasting. Tend to burn sugary toasts unless you adjust the light/dark button all the way down. Looks better than the picture in reallife, kinda cute. The bright light is cool, no complaint from the wife. She actually prefers it. Can't comment on durability but other internet reviewers have had them for years. Would recommend for toasting but probably not for cooking which it is not meant to be used for.

Strengths: Best toast I've ever had. Consistent, even toasting. Just set the toast darkness level, and it comes out perfectly each time. Toasting time is very fast.
Weaknesses: A little small, but not too bad.
Summary: I was a little skeptical at first about this toaster. I have read a lot of positive reviews about it. I didn't believe that a toaster can be that great, but after using it,I am now a believer. This is the best toaster I have ever had. The toaster has a very solid feel to it. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. Cleaning is also pretty easy; there's a slide out crumb tray.

Strengths: Fast toasting with no preheating, roomy interior, baking function, predefined cooking buttons, timer, nice high tech look.
Weaknesses: timer only goes to 25 min max.
Summary: This toaster replaced our aging B&D toaster oven and it does an admirable job. This toaster has got the toasting process down to an exact science. Throw the bread into the oven and press one button and around 1-2 min later you have your toast. It has five levels of shade control from light, medium to dark and remembers the last setting so you don't have to set it every time. (it clears when the power is unplugged).

Inside is roomy enough to accommodate medium to large size potato and it does good job at baking them. Only caveat we've come across is that the timer function only goes to 25 min and it takes around 35 min to bake so you do have to come back and reset the timer part way through baking but thats a minor issue and it maybe a safety feature so stuff don't catch on fire.

I've read many reviews on the net and some people are complaining about baking not automatically shutting down when the door is opened but I don't see a problem there. Does your conventional oven shut off when the door is opened? I didn't think so. If anything it allows you to check the food inside without having to reset the timer.

All in all this is a very nice upgrade to the old B&D and I can't imagine ever going back to a conventional toaster oven.
