Strengths: Quick, water level indicator, auto shuf off, and made in Germany
Weaknesses: 1500W
Summary: Braun AquaExpress Kettle is simple but good design water boiling system. It boils water very quickly (about 70 sec per one cup of water). Since it has water level indicator on each side, it is really convenient to check water level.

Strengths: heat 7 cups at a time, main unit cordless
Weaknesses: consumes 1500 w power
Summary: I bought this because my cheapy $15 one had started showing it's cheap qualities...the water used to leak every now and then from it. I've used this before at my uncles place too so this one immediately came to my mind once I decided to buy a new one. The best thing about it is that the main jug can be separated from the base (which has the cord attached to it). My earlier one was 1 whole piece with the cord. The only drawback is that it uses up 1500 w of power and that is significant for me since if the load exceeds a certain limit at my place, the power supply shuts off to my computer and other equipment and then I have to catch my landlord and ask him to enable the circuit once again :(

Strengths: Nicely designed, boils water very fast, corded base is separate
Weaknesses: Lid does not open completely and makes it hard to clean
Summary: I bought it as I drink tea regularly. Its convenient to use as kettle and corded base are separate allowing you to take the kettle to the sink to fill water. Handle and kettle stay cool to touch. There is a single button to start it and shuts off automatically when the water boils. Its a little expensive to buy but so far worth the money.

Strengths: Super fast boiling, Auto switch off, Detachable
Weaknesses: Narrow opening
Summary: Last 10 days, how much my "tea time" preparation has gotten easier and quicker I cannot tell you!

As product info says, it heats water really fast!

This smart kettle does shut switch off when water is boiled, when it's empty or when you accidentally open the lid.

So it's very safe.

Detachable kettle...great!

And of course, you can put it back to base in any angle (360 degree).

Only small thing, if I would point, it would be narrow opening.

When I pour water into kettle, if lid opens wider, it would be easier little bit.

But I'm very satisfied and I'm using it every single day!

Strengths: - fast boil (70s / cup) - safety system...auto shutoff once water finishes boiling - holds around 7 cups and has an indicator to the side
Weaknesses: Price. High watt usage (1500W)
Summary: I like kettles that can operate by themselves. In this case, the Aqua Express automatically shuts off once the water boils. With a standard kettle, I would still need to take a walk to the kitchen to turn the stove off.

The kettle also includes a filter at the spout that prevents the limescale from entering your cup.

I haven't had any issues with the Aqua Express. However, it does consume plenty of power. The lights actually dim a bit when I turn it on.
