3 Star Reviewviewsonic n2010 lcd
Strengths: price, picture quality
Weaknesses: resolution
Summary: This model has been around for a while so I would say its on its way out as better featured lcd tv's are introduced by viewsonic. However, this is a good tv for the bedroom, the kitchen, etc where you dont use it a lot or dont want to invest a great deal of money in a tv. Bonus that it is 20 inches for the price, side firing speaks and a nice looking package. Its got the basics and serves its intended purpose reasonably, Its not the best but its worth the money - would not pay more than around $325 for it after rebates. Because resolution is 640 x 800 you will not want to use it as a computer monitor but you bought it as a tv correct?

Summary: I have been very impressed with the picture, ease of set-up and overall quality build of this unit; it really can't be beaten for the price.

Strengths: Has nice styling and sturdy swivel base. Picture is very good with direct multiple inputs. Good tv warranty and sturdy packing.
Weaknesses: Speakers are small. black level affected by brightness setting. minimum cables provided.
Summary: 2005-10-31 08:46:35 Although picture is good, brightness must be lowered to improve contrast and black levels compared to a CRT tv.

Good value for a 20 in. LCD TV is great for countertop viewing. Picture is very good with a direct source inputs.

Strengths: Sleek-looking, displays standard definition (SD) picture well. Good price.
Weaknesses: Not HD, not widescreen (not surprising, since these two features often go hand-in-hand). Minimal cables included.
Summary: This TV is great for those who aren't ready to make the jump to the world of high definition widescreen TV yet still want to experience the convenience and sleekness of an LCD TV. Ideal for either a bedroom or a kitchen TV.

The 4:3 aspect ratio of this TV fits the mold of such people who would only be watching standard definition TV. The low resolution of this TV actually helps in that standard definition actually looks pretty good on this TV (compared to HD LCDs, on which SD content can look quite grainy).

Personally, I think that if you're going to spend the cash for an LCD TV, you might as well spend a little extra to get a more future-proof widescreen HD TV. The price isn't much more, and you'll thank yourself when you do indeed decide to try out HDTV--in that you won't need to buy yet another new TV.

Strengths: Bright LCD, good quality picture and a built-in TV tuner
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: What great value for money! A LCD TV for less than the price for a 20" monitor. Great quality picture and a wonderful compact and modern design...I could not be happier!
