Strengths: Cheap but awesome performance for the money. Uses the XP 3200 plus processor and good cooling for a mid tower. Has a DVD-R/W Recorder, 48X CD-ROM and a multi-card reader plus. FAST AND GOOD FEATURES! Weaknesses: Bigger cases are easier to cool but this computer does good as long as you keep it clean using a good compressed air can and computer cleaner/wipes. Great computer. Beats some models at $1200 dollars! Summary: I cannot think of a better budget computer for the money and since I have owned a previous E-Machines model that was not as good but just as reliable I decided to purchase this model. It has everything I need. I bought another 512 GB of PC2700 memory and it runs smooth as silk even though it did at 512MB. But some games do better with more hardware memory and an upgraded 8X AGP video card, which I also added from nVidia.
