Strengths: Very powerful, can get software overclocking on this

Weaknesses: Supposed great heatsink not so great!

Summary: My only problem with this board is terrible heat issues, causing screen flickering and blank screens. Looking around more now I finding other people that have heat problems with this card as well. Heatsink does not have good contact with GPU.

If your looking for a top of the line geforce 4 ca ...

Strengths: Best ti 4400, 4600 in its class. Quite close to ati scores. The best heatsink on a card to date. Vivo options are amazing.

Weaknesses: Price (card makes up for it)

Summary: If your looking for a top of the line geforce 4 card the ti 4400 and the 4600 version of this card is the best way to go. The 4600 beats the 9700pro in some tests and loses by no more than 20fps in a few other tests in 1024x768 (the only rez people use normally). Great card for the extra bucks.

fast looks good plays all in 1600*1200 at 85 ...

Strengths: 128DDR awsome 4600ti, grate cooling, im a pro. and this when overclocked and inst properly is the fastest ive seen. however geforce fx on its way!!!

plays all in 1600*1200 at 85hz with everything swiched on even on ghost recon.

i found the best way was a cleen inst with xp , then put your own drivers on.

via -hy+ det-31.91 and use the great winfox over clock it too 330mhz....chip and 710mhz for the ram

The card is nice looking, fast, and well bundled. ...

Strengths: The card is a Geforce4 TI 4600 Its as fast as they come (for now)

Weaknesses: Leadtek has proprietary driver control (depending upon the system)

Summary: The card is nice looking, fast, and well bundled.

But... On some (not all) systems, the A250 will not install with the NVIDIA reference Detonator drivers. This means that card owners on these systems have to wait for driver updates, and in my experience with Leadtek trying to get dates for these updates is nearly impossible.

Leadtek's support team speaks limited English, so plan on relying on web forums and kind people who are willing to help in order to solve any problems.

I would only recommend this product to people who have a good sense of hardware installation. It is NOT as easy to install as other cards (I.E. PNY's Version) But it sure is alot prettier.

I own a Visiontek ti4600, Asus V8460, and now this ...

Strengths: Very Compatible; Extremely fast; Looks way cool in your modded pc; Stable even when overclocked; Great WinFox utility

Weaknesses: None

Summary: 2002-07-26 15:36:38 I own a Visiontek ti4600, Asus V8460, and now this Leadtek A250 Ultra. To me this is far and away the best of this bunch. It performs flawlessly, is just a speed killer, and looks sweet too.

Rodeon 9700 will kill this card, I would wait for ...

Strengths: 128MB

Weaknesses: Too expensive, (Rodeon 9700 on the corner, much fater card)

Summary: Rodeon 9700 will kill this card, I would wait for Rodeon 9700, look in 3Dmark 2001 , Rodeon 9700 score already much better from Geforce4.
