Do any of you other people have this problem with ...
Strengths: Seems to have lots of power, and sounds great.
Weaknesses: My amp "pops" when I turn it off!
Summary: Do any of you other people have this problem with this amp? I have two 400watt 10" subs driven off the rear left/right channels in stereo using the built in sub-crossover, and two 260watt 6x9's driven off the front left/right channels in stereo. It turns on fine, and sounds great, but when I turn it off it "pops"!!! I unplugged the RCA inputs, and it still pops! If I bridge the amp into two channels, and only run two speakers off it (either the subs or the 6x9's, it doesn't matter) the pop goes away. All the speakers are 4 Ohm. However, I want to use all 4 speakers. I'm using 8 gauge power/ground wire. I cleaned off all the enamel on my ground connection, so it is good. I have a feeling it is a problem with my amp, but I'm not sure if it is a defect, or if it is just the way the amp works. Can any of you other owners let me know if you have this problem? Thanks.
