Best Double-DIN CD Player without MP3 Playback
Strengths: Easy-to-read, Easy-to-use, CD-Text, strong Tuner, CD + cassette
Weaknesses: no MP3/WMA
Summary: Designed before MP3's became popular, it set the bar high for double DIN CD players. Also plays cassettes (I don't use it). CD-Text of song titles is helpful. I burn my CD's and include the CD-Text. Allows radio stations to be marked with text on the screen. This is helpful for others that drive my car (like my wife) to identify the radio pre-sets. All set-ups are lost when the battery is disconnected. How many times have I set this receiver up in the last 3 years? Too many! I now have all my set-up options and text on paper to speed up the process! I love this deck. I wish only that it played MP3's.
