Strengths: Small Form Factor, Easy Install, Quick downloads, still had good battery life
Weaknesses: May not pickup signal as well as full wifi cards (ie in a laptop) but this device is low power
Summary: Insert CD, Install, ActiveSync, Pop in card. PPC2003 displays available network. Download. Done! It was that easy. I've gotten fast download speeds--almost felt like I was on a laptop (my PDA has 416mhz CPU with 64mb ram, pretty standard) took maybe 45 seconds to download a 2mb PDF; works well with streaming audio/video.
I have not tried on too many networks, but it worked on 3/4. the 4th wifi network was in a house where it's hit or miss, but a laptop picked up a 40% signal in that room (although the laptop card probably has more power)
One other thing, if one had to be nit-pickky, pre-purchase uncertainty due to different versions of card & SDIONow requirements slightly confusing. But basically, the Revision2 card is smaller and has better software. Also as long as you run PPC2003 and have an SDIO slot, you are SDIONow compatible.
Happy surfing!
