Strengths: Easy to use and learn, and much less expensive than Project. Palm version available also. Free tech support. Very flexible. Weaknesses: Server version requires 5 users or more. Summary: I used version 8.0.5 and it was extremely intuitive to use. Just click on a tool a draw bars and the dates and times appear automatically. Excellent interface, just like MS Office. Very flexible with gorgeous output. Has an ability to accept pictures and graphics that I could not find anywhere else. Accepts dates from the year 2 to the year 6000. Click one button to get from a timeline to a calendar. Easy to use work calendar and resource assignments. I found it to be very stable with no problems in weeks of use. Good tutorials and tech support. Much less expensive than other Project Management software. Palm syncing worked smoothly. Well worth the money. 100% of People (4/4) found this review helpful. The tech support is excellent. Weaknesses: Buggy. Not intuitive. Slow. Summary: I had high hopes for hisProject Software, but I can not recommend it. I use a lot of different kinds of software and this one was definitely not intuitive. I spent days working through the example files and tutorial before I started to get it. In addition, it is buggy; more of a beta release in my opinion, than a final release, Dates prior to 1975 keep converting to 2074, etc. There are work arounds, but they become a pain in the neck when making any changes to the project. Big projects and/or those with calculatons are very slow. Everyone can figue it out. Weaknesses: Cannot edit resources directly in the schedule view. Summary: Very easy to use. I've hated other project software but this product is so much easier. I bought one copy and after my co-workers saw how easy it was to use, we bought 7 more copies. Simple interface, no need to be a technically trained manager to benefit from this.
