Strengths: Easy to use, install and dependable
Weaknesses: Wish it were bigger
Summary: Bought this drive 2 years ago, bundled with quick sync. It was very expensive for 5 gigs, somewhere around $275. Popped it in my laptop and it has been running like a charm ever since. This is the third laptop I have had it in, invaluable for migrating data. My main use is to provide myself with an infalible backup that I don't have to mess with or even think about. Great product, just wish the price was a low as it is now.

Strengths: pcmcia 5GB HDD
Weaknesses: everything else. noisy "clicking" sound, slow to be recognized by computer. very expensive (at the time)
Summary: bought this same drive about one year ago. Paid over $300. Used it ONE time on a big trip. took hundreds of digital photo's then using my PDA, dumped them to this drive to free up memory sticks(no laptop available). worked great. came home, dumped photos to the computers HDD, and very carefully put the drive away in it's original case. several months later I'm getting ready for another trip and the drive won't function at all. But guess what, it only has a one year warranty...Hmm...think I'll stay away from Toshiba products from now on. The really bad news it that it's not even heavy enough for a good paper weight.
