Strengths: Breathtaking Graphics, Original UT Feel, Absolutely Free Multiplayer (No Subscription Or Payments Needed)
Weaknesses: Needs A "Very" High-End Computer, Lags Considerably If Internet Connection Is Not Fast Enough, Not Many Players Out There Yet
Summary: Since Unreal Tournament 2003 and 2004, I have been looking for a UT-reincarnation that has created the feel of adrenaline and fun that the original Unreal Tournament has brought me many years ago. UT3 seems to be the closest iteration to date that has brought the feel and the moves of the original UT game into the gaming atmosphere. The game is viciously fast paced, with any weapon you use to be as deadly as the next (even the regular sidearm is deadly in the hands of an expert.) Unlike playing Halo 3 multiplayer where everything feels almost mute except the players in the game, the environment in UT3 is alive and deeply organic thanks to the Unreal 3 engine. However this means the PC-requirements are rather steep for anyone who wants to play this game in its full glory. Surround sound only works with OpenAL-compatible sound cards so the Creative Xi-Fi seems to be the best choice for PC gamers right now...
