 This camera out of the box was fine, a good camer ... Strengths: Works really good for the first year or som and then you will begin to encounter problems, as soon as the one year warranty runs out. But video quality is adequate, manual controls are easy to use.
Weaknesses: once the one year has gone by, you cna throw it away. everything is a weakness afterwards. B&W Viewfinder, small lcd, low light capability
Summary: This camera out of the box was fine, a good camera for the guy around the house that wasnt looking to have superb video quality or make a motion picture, with my case i filmed skateboarding. THis camera begin to show faults about a year after i purchased it, and they kept piling on top of one another until, one day, it just stopped working. You can throw it away after that because the JVC crew isnt very helpful.
