Are you freakin kidding me!!?!?!?! This card is 5 years old and you're saying that this sucks because it doesn't play World of Warcraft or CS???? Why don't you pick up a 486 PC from the 90's and bash that cause it doesn't run Windows XP smoothly.

Bottom line, you need to realize that computer hardware has a lifespan... when this card came out 5 years ago, it was pretty good for the money. OF COURSE when you run today's games on it; it won't come out as smoothly. As for the rating for this card; I give it a 4.5/5. Reason is this: it ran most of my video apps/games 4 years ago when this was still considered worthy of a 'good video card' in comparision to it's competitors.

Strengths: great resolutions settings, good speed and rendering for DVD's and light gaming
Weaknesses: limited outputs and inputs
Summary: For the money, you can't go wrong, this card is a great replacement for a default system card you might have in an old machine. By no means will this things replace the $100-200 video cards out there, but if you want a card to surf the net, veiw email, play DVD's and some light gaming, then this is the card for you!! Hands down, a great buy.

Strengths: Works for me! I'm playing new games (RC Wolfstein, Medal of Honor) at 800x600 resolution at 32bit with really nice performance for $42!
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: I got this OEM card from Essentual Computers as one of parts of my new PC to play new good games. It works! Benchmark shows very good results, o well not as good as $200-300 ATI cards, however I can play ANY new game with perfect performance at 800x600 32bit for $42. I can play ANY older games such as Quake 3 at 1280x1024 32bit with exellent performance! The bottom line - it works good in ANY game and if I need to upgrade it I would do so in next 2 years for the same price $42 for the Radeon 9500 Pro AGP 128MB 2D/3D (cost $315 now).

Strengths: Decent Card.
Weaknesses: Bad fps for a 64MB card.
Summary: This is a good card, however, be careful who you purchase it from, (i.e. spartan technologies) for because the may not send the right card, or send a radeon 7000 w/ SG-SDRAM, drastically reducing the performance of the video card.

2 Star ReviewI bought this card of ubid and willbe sending it b ...
Strengths: ATI drivers (ATI POWERD)
Weaknesses: ATI should stop letting people use there stuff
Summary: I bought this card of ubid and willbe sending it back. There is no maker anywhere on the box or on the card. ATI is all over it though! It is a powerd by ATI card. BEfor you buy a ATI card make sure that it is a made by ATI! I contacted ATI and they have no idea who made the card. On there web site they sugest that you contact the maker for the best up to date drivers. Well, if they don't have a clue who made it and I can find them how do you get the drivers? I had a vodoo 2 with 8 megs that runs as good as this card. I am also running AMD thunbird 133 with 512 megs of ram on windows 2000 so please don't tell me that I do not have the HW. Ibought the card for TFC and HALF LIFE. It did not impprove gamming one bit over my voodo 2. I am very upset with ATI for letting a card like this have there name on it! I love Open GL and try to support ATI as much as possible since they support OpenGL. Just so you know, I instaled the latest drivers from ATI powerd and also used power strip to OC it up to 170. Any thing over that and it was a no go! It runs around 147 normal. Over heats very quick. I am going to try a made by ATI card and see if there is a diffrence. I hope this helps anyone that would like to buy this card. Sorry about any miss spelled words.

I would leave my eamil but they do not like that posted here.

Chuck
