Strengths: Gentle, battery life, good price, and it works well
Weaknesses: the bristle area could be larger
Summary: I needed a tooth brush that was able to clean below the gum line without doing radical gum surgery. I have Crowns and the most important area to get clean is where the crown meet the real tooth under the gum line. A cavity there means a new crown. I had an OralB. Good tooth brush, but a little harsh. The Sonicare's bristles are soft and don't require a hard application to the tooth to clean. My dentist has seen a major improvement.

One little drawback. The vibration will scare when you hit a nearby tooth.

Charge the the Sonicare for a full day out of the box. From then on, don't put it in the charger until it dies. Your charge should last 2 weeks.

As far as refills, don't know. Haven't bought one yet.

Strengths: last longer than other brand
Weaknesses: expensive and difficult to find it on the market
Summary: sonicare has many models of tooth brushes on the market. i am very satisfied with this one. it's built to last longer than other model. some newer models are weak by just looking at them.

the concern is a4100 is very difficult to find in today's market. it seems that sonicare wants it to phase out by replacing it with other fancy models which can make more money. but i am a royal fan of advance model.
