Strengths: ITS PURPLE! No really its easy to install, easy to set up, and looks good in your case.
Weaknesses: I have not found any yet.
Summary: When building custom cases to make your friends drool, the color of the board is just as important as its power and abilities. And this board does it all! Looks really good with a Purple Neon Light above it..

Strengths: Great board! Everything went together perfectly and installed with ease. A must for a solid system
Weaknesses: The only thing i was concerned about is how much pressure you had to use to get the heat sink on the CPU. But it was fine.
Summary: Nothing to say but an all around great board. I hope to see more great products from this company and i think that we will. I will deffinetly buy another Soltek for my next computer. Im using a 950 gig tbird athlon and a nvidia geforce4 ti440 with 512 ddr 2100 memory 56k v90 modem cdrw and dvd rom drive.

Strengths: This mainboard was very easy to get in the case and get everything hooked up (Built a new PC with it). Number one is it is rock stable! Not a glitch since it was installed.
Weaknesses: Haven't found one yet.
Summary: My son and I built a 1800 AMD, 512 MB DDR RAM, TI200-64Mb, 40GB HD, DVD, CDRW PC with XP professional as the OS. The motherboard installed easily in a AMD approved Enlight case, requiring no tweaking of dip switches or jumpers. The manual was fairly coherent. I was a little concerned about the amount of pressure required to get the clip to snap for the CPU heat sink/fan but nothing went wrong. I'd buy another Solotek mainboard, no problem.

Strengths: Easy install, Stable, fast, Nice free software included, I have had no problems or complaints.
Weaknesses: huh?
Summary: I recieved product and of course the first thing I did was start to set it up. Everthing installed famously, no problems. I Had to pay close attention to the switches on the the mainboard but no big hassle.

I am running:

Atlon XP 1900, overclocked to a XP 2000

512mb DDR SDRAM

SOLTEK SL-75DRV4 PURPLE RAY

Matrox G550 32mb DDR AGP

Strengths: What a great board. Solid as a rock!
Weaknesses: Nothing noteworthy.
Summary: I just built 3 Athlon 1800XP systems using this board. Not one problem. Windows XP install was a breeze, driver installs were no problem at all. Comes with lots of free software. Great deal for such a solid board at under $100.

Strengths: ATA/133, on-board audio, smart card reader, 4 USB, comes with lots of good software (antivirus, partition magic, other stuff)
Weaknesses: Some minor work involved in reading through documentation to set switches and jumpers, no global fail-safe loading option in BIOS
Summary: I had originally bought a different motherboard for my Athlon 1800+ processor, but I had lots of problems getting it to work. Random lockups made getting that board up a nightmare to say the least. Can you say RMA?

In comes Purple Ray, installed and playing Unreal Tournament in 2 hours or less last night. Rock-solid stable, no problems at all. Everything worked perfectly as it should. What a relief!

The software package that comes with the motherboard is fairly extensive -- PC-CILLIN, partition magic, a program for storing CD-ROMs on you hard disk, all full version software.

Good deal, and under 100 bucks!

Strengths: super stable even after overclocking, excellent perfomance, low price, ATA 133
Weaknesses: none, though CNR is useless;)
Summary: 2002-02-25 17:42:15 Soltek did it again. A rock solid performance at rock solid price. Almost everything an idle motherboard should have. Compared to other motherboards(Soyo D+, Abit Raid), the only feature is missing is Raid, big deal. With the price of under 100 dollars this motherboards can performs outstanding if not excellent and still can out perform todays hi-end motherboards. Just because its a Korean product, it shouldn't be overlooked. If you are looking for Raid, then this is not your stop. If you are not impressed then wait 2 or 3 weeks the Soltek SL-75erv Purple Ray version. Hey I don't want to sound corny, but i must say if there were ten stars i would have give it ten.
