Strengths: Great picture that rivals Sony's WEGA 26-inch, can be used as a computer monitor, blazing-fast response time, superb sound, great documentation and more inputs than I can find a use for.
Weaknesses: Takes a while to configure it to your room's ambient light. Opacity function doesn't seem to be very useful. Stand does not adjust for height: only swivels up a bit, but not down.
Summary: I've been banging my head up agaisnt the wall for months over which LCD TV to get. I figured that if I'm gonna sink upwards of $1500 on a TV, I'd best get exactly what I wanted. After searching through review after review at various places (including Consumer Reports) and after spending too much time comparing screens side-by-side, I came down to either this one or Sony's WEGA 26-inch LCD TV. I decided on this one as the picture on the sony was only a tiny bit better when viewing analog feed (due to Sony's DRC), but that didn't seem worth the extra $400 which I could use on an extended warranty. So I got the Sharp AQUOS 26-inch and haven't looked back since. Picture quality took a while to adjust, but now looks crisp on just about every thing I put on the screen. In true Sharp fashion, you get an insane number of inputs that the average user won't fill up, but the mutli-console gamer will rejoice in not having to invest in a system selector. And let's not forget that this is one of only a few LCD TVs on the market that can double as a computer monitor. Get yourself a wireless keyboard and mouse (or gamepad) and enjoy Half-Life 2 in widescreen bliss while you recline in the beanbag! No need to worry about much ghosting as the (often less than) 16ms response time keeps games running about as smooth as any CRT. The sound will impress most audiophiles with the Dolby Pro Logic II. To cap it off, this LCD HDTV costs on average $300-$700 less than it's competitors. Only real complaint is the stand that doesn't adjust all that much and the automatic opacity function just doesn't cut it for rooms with dark corners or full-spectrum lighting; adjust manually and prepare to spend some time doing it.

Strengths: Great picture better than Samsung or Sony.
Weaknesses: Monitor does not have swivel adjustment on stand and it takes some time to make adjustment, but that's normal.
Summary: I purchased this unit for my bedroom and so far it looks great. The contrast and viewing angle rivals that of standard TVs without taking up the space. I like the fact that there are 4 input connections and HDMI so it's defintely a worthwhile investment. HDTV or DVDs will take full advantage of the quality of the TV. This TV is defintely a must buy.

3 Star ReviewQuality of picture doesn't compare as well as I ha ...
Strengths: Looks great on my desk, easy set-up out of box, nice screen sizing options and screen picture controls, as well as great sound &16ms response times with minimal screen glare.
Weaknesses: This is my first LCD HDTV...using Time Warner Cable w/many analog stations, picture varies from fair-very good/channel. Fine-tuning color, brightness, contrast, and backlighting can be time consuming.
Summary: Quality of picture doesn't compare as well as I had hoped to a CRT set, grainy & pixelated when viewing close-up on analog stations, though ghosting is almost non-existent due to 16ms response times. For my part, I wish I hadn't switched from DirectTV so I could better compare picture to all-digital source. Also, this TV has no HDTV tuner built-in so I will have to add that later. I can only assume HDTV will look great (better)...and I haven't had a chance to view DVD's or use as a computer monitor yet. Expert reviews (CNET)seem to point to oversaturation of reds and lesser extent greens with this LCD display, so you need to make adjustments to those parameters to achieve the best picture possible (which I did to the best of my ability)...then again, stores offer professional calibrating services for all these new displays (LCD, Plasma, DLP)if you want to shell out more $$$.

Strengths: Great HD Picture Quality Nice design A lot of inputs
Weaknesses: The Monitor Doesn't Tilt in any direction
Summary: Overall I am satisfied with this LCD TV.

It displays HD very nicely and offers a array of inputs.

Look at this model before choosing cheaper brands like Olevia Syntax.

Strengths: Display quality
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: Just got it today and it looks great. I read another review that the stand didn't swivel, but works just as well rotating the body. Lots of av connection options. It's alot bigger than I thought. Can't wait to buy a new dvd player. Great buy!
