Much better sound than with my cheep cable set. Weaknesses: None Summary: I purchased this cable from Amazon.com - excellent price, free shipping. I use this cable to hook up my DVD player to my Onkyo 605 receiver. Excellent sound quality, couldn't be happier. The cable also has an addapter for connecting s/pdif compatible devices. This digital optical cable produced cleaner and clearer sound quality as compared to using a digital coax cable. I used this cable to connect a Denon CD player with my Yamaha amplifier. I get excellent sound reproduction with this cable. The 4 ft. length of the cable was long enough with the way my components are arranged. There are longer Belkin cables available if you need a longer length and I recommend all of them.
