Strengths: Installed in 5 minutes in my Mac 2003 G4; works exactly as needed with my new video iPod
Weaknesses: Possible problem with Sleep mode when iPod is attached
Summary: I gave this PCI card only 4 stars because I haven't had it long enough (3 days) to know how well it works with other USB devices.

However, it works excellently with my new video iPod, and I'm very grateful not to have to wait forever for my music library to transfer via the USB 1.1 port.

Installation was a snap, it took a little over 5 minutes, and that counts the time I was looking for my anti-static wrist strap.

I noticed that the Mac had some problems coming out of Sleep mode when the iPod was attached and charging, but when the iPod is not attached there are no problems going in/out of Sleep mode. So I attribute the difficulties to how the iPod communicates with the older computer and not to the D-Link adapter.

I would definitely recommend this adapter to anyone needing to upgrade any tower Mac (mine is a 2003 G4) to USB 2.0.
