Strengths: Plenty of inputs and a fine picture.
Weaknesses: No PIP. Does not tilt/swivel.
Summary: I been waiting for this monitor/TV for a long time. It also took months for stores to stock it once announced.

I am using this off a HD Fios box, computer, and several games systems for my hone office. I am pleased with the number of inputs for all my needs and the ability to use it as a monitor/TV for my Media Center PC.

It comes well packed with easy to understand instructions on the input locations. The power cord directly plugs into the unit. No other cables are included.

It looks great for SD and HD TV and a fair picture as a computer monitor. Not as good at my ViewSonic VX2245wm but, fine enough for my use.

I am extremely pleased with this purchase because it fits my needs and is not oversized for my office.

Strengths: - Out of this world picture (computer and TV) - Inputs for EVERYTHING - Perfect size for desktop computing - Comfy size for TV viewing up close AND across the room - Intuitive/easy setup menus
Weaknesses: - Speakers are weak - Only audio output is 1/8" headphone jack (volume dependant) - Must input remote commands quickly and knowledgably - Sluggish channel changing
Summary: From day one I have had no functional problems with this monitor/TV. I use it for desktop computing and the size is "wow its big" and "just below overwhelming" - perfect. As for TV, HDTV through the airwaves does NOT disappoint as picture clarity is delivered with a whopping 1040 vertical pixels. I've seen no shadowing with sports / action movies and videos played through the computer are simply amazing. I've seen no difference between using the 'plug and play' drivers and the one I installed manually from the disc, but then again I'm using a 4 year old video card (that's the next thing to be replaced).

Summary: If you need a TV for the kitchen/office or just want to replace that old square CRT/LCD monitor with 16:9 goodness for a price that won't break your bank... View Sonic delivers!

3 Star ReviewGreat price; few shortcomings
Strengths: Excellent picture. Very good price.
Weaknesses: Connecting to a Comcast HD cable w/component produces a horizontal line scrolling through screen. HDMI does not. Does not switch aspect ratio automatically. Weak-a$$ speakers. Small onscreen menu.
Summary: Slow channel switching is not due to the limitation of the tv but the throughput of your HDMI cable. This unfortunately only has one single hdmi input- might need an hdmi switch. Sometimes when I turn the thing on the picture is misaligned on screen; switching channels back and forth fixes it.

Strengths: Built-in HD tuner; good variety of inputs; great price
Weaknesses: No swivel; only one HDMI input
Summary: I bought this because I wanted a 22-23 inch LCD for the office that I could hook my Nintendo Wii to. I jumped on this particular tv because it's not easy to find a tv that size for under $400 without resorting to buying a less than reputable brand. I figured that Viewsonic LCD monitors are great quality (own one myself), so an LCD tv made by them should be pretty good as well. I haven't regretted my decision since.

I've been very pleased with the picture quality. The built-in HD tuner works just fine (although I think I may need a more powerful antenna). The Wii looks pretty good using component cables. I haven't hooked anything else up yet, but it's good to know that I have an available HDMI input for an upscaling DVD or HD cable box if I decide to use it at some point. There's even a DVI and VGA input in case I want to use it as a monitor. I couldn't really ask for much more, although some may wish there were more than one HDMI input. I'm happy though!
