Strengths: clear sound, very good microphone. excellent for VOIP conversations and online gaming. Also very good for listening to music

Summary: I bought this headset for online gaming but I also use it to talk to my friends and family overseas over ventrilo and other messaging clients.
The sound is crystal clear and the voice quality over the microphone is good too according to people who hear me talk over it.
For $15 its a steal considering that when they came out they were close to $50.

Strengths: Comfortable, clear stero sound with conveniently located volume control and shirt clip.
Weaknesses: Headphone and microphone plugs are not color coded. It would be easier and quicker to install if microphone plug was red.
Summary: Very comfortable to wear. The foam ear pieces reduce background noise (TV, conversations, etc.) enough to listen to crisp stereo sound with little distraction. Microphone tilts conveniently out of the way. Excellent product. They work perfectly for me when I take online classes and listen to .mp3 tracks.

Strengths: Excellent dynamic range and sound for the price
Weaknesses: None as I see
Summary: These headphone provide a very loud sound. The range of sound make you hear everything that can be thrown at you. The speaker is versatile enough to be used for gaming and, as well as, good enough to be used for voice dictation. The in-line control allows you at a tip of the finger to turn off the mic and adjust the volume, which is a must now, unless you use the OS to adjust this.

Strengths: Great sound, good for games, (doesn't disturb my wife (she isn't fond of dying alien screams :) )
Weaknesses: Construction seems a bit flimsy
Summary: Overall, great product, recommend getting buying inconjunction with the PLantronics PC headset speaker switch. The 3D sound with the headset works great! Also, microphone works pretty well, but I have not used it that much.

Strengths: convenient, works great
Weaknesses: mic cannot be separately used...design of the product, but it would be nice if they had that option available.
Summary: I bought it for gaming and it works great with convenience and flexibility. i like the fact that mic is attached to the headphone and makes me to do my best in the game.

Strengths: Works great. Voice transfer were pretty clear.
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: The only difference between the .80 vs .90 is that .80 is foldable. This model has a more comfortable and more closure to both ears. It would be great if using it to listen to music or watching DVD.
It has a bulky look to it, but overall it's good for under $20 cost.

Strengths: Comfort, build quality, light weight, great sound.

Summary: It's hard to find comfortable, well built PC headphones these days. I was looking for a pair that have a good, noise cancelling mic. for chat rooms and online gaming. I also wanted something light weight yet durable. My kids broke the last pair! These Plantronics seem built to last. I immediately noticed a dramatic improvement in sound quality when I played Ravenshield. People said I sounded much clearer in games and chat rooms with this microphone. Music sounds good too. I like to watch music videos on line and they sound great, lots of good bass. Other features I like are the inline volume control and mic switch, very handy. The mic boom is flexible and bends into the proper position for different users. It also flips back out of the way when not in use. They are still comfortable after 2 or 3 hours of use. $35 retail in stores but I found them for $20 shipped online which makes them a good value.

Strengths: Comfortable, good sound quality, long cable, and a good adjustable microphone
Weaknesses: Quite heavy and can slide around or even fall off unless you keep still
Summary: I have used this headset for more than 100 hours and have yet to have a problem with them. The sound coming from the headphones is clear and the microphone is very responsive, much more so than the mic built into my notebook computer. I have been using the headset for Skype mainly and it works very well, people never have a problem hearing me. The long remote makes it very easy to do other things while using it but when when added to the weight of the headset, the headset is prone to slide around and even fall off.
Overall, this is a great product, it takes no installation, has a great inline volume control, and is very comfortable even over long periods of time. If you are looking for a product to use with internet voice applications then this is great. I highly recommend the product.

Summary: Only needed these for a voice recognition program but they turned out to be pretty good all around. Would have been nice if they were a little lighter but are still comfortable

 The headset sound quality seems very good. But, th ... Strengths: Mp3's sound really good. Headset is comfortable.
Weaknesses: Short wires for mic/soundcard
Summary: The headset sound quality seems very good. But, the boom mic feels too close to my mouth. It sounded ok when I did a test recording in sound recorder though. One other thing that I don't like is that the 2 split wires for the microphone and soundcard jack are too short to split them. I normally plug my headset into the front of my speakers and I'm not able to do this if I plug the mic into the computer.

Strengths: Good noise cancellation
Weaknesses: need to have a little bit more maximum loud volume
Summary: It is a nice produt for the price. However it feels a little fragile, i am also worried about breaking it, while using it. Needs to be of a little flexible material. But I would definetly recommend it to my friends.

Great Headset for a single user ONLY
Strengths: Sound quality is amazing (Great for MP3s and Voice over IP)
Weaknesses: Adjustable headband's conduit ruins internal wiring as it gets adjusted a few times for different head sizes
Summary: I'm a tough critic and I've been buying headsets for almost every single piece of audio electronics I've ever owned. I have to admit the quality of this heaset is amazing in comparison to many popular brands. However, as I used several units over very long periods of time (which averaged a lifetime of about a year per unit, more or less) I noticed that this unit's only flaw is the wiring inside conduit of the adjustable headband. I noticed that my headset usually broke when I had people staying over at my place for long periods of time and everytime they used the headset I noticed they had to adjust its size. Then, shortly after a visitor's stay I would notice that one of the sides don't work or the mic for example stops picking up sound when positioned at a certain angle... The good thing is that this product coes with a manufac. 1 year warranty. From my experience, their customer service always gave me a horrible hard time when attempting to replace a unit, but with some tolerance I always managed to get it replaced. I had to talk to some managers and plead a little bit. Other than that, I don't see a reason why this product should fail if you take good care of it.

Summary: I bought this for VOIP, but the sound quality is very good and have also used to listen to music. Is comfortable and I have not had any problems. My only complaint is the appearance, it's a little bulky but I'm being nit picky. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Summary: 2004-07-25 23:23:23 I just bought this headset and it is great. Its high quality, and transmits voice clearly for my games. The audo is really smooth and strong. Great buy :) You should buy this if you are looking for a headset.

Strengths: Sound quality and clarity is great. I use it with Vonage softphone and I love the stereo headphones because I can turn the volume down and still hear the other party on my conversation.
Weaknesses: A little heavy after wearing all day and a little bulky to transport.
Summary: Great to use with laptop and softphone although the size makes it a little difficult to transport unless you have a large laptop case as I do. I needed as good as quality as possible for phone calls on my PC and these seem to do the trick. People I talk to don't know that I am talking on a softphone or on my laptop and they say the voice quality is very good. They do begin to be a little heavy by the end of a long day or long movie.
