Weaknesses: Memory fills up quickly so need a lot of SD cards, Battery life is not enough. Summary: Initially I was planning on getting the hard drive version of this camera but decided to get this one because of the compact size. I bought a 1 GB SD card but it is not enough. So I will be buying some more high capacity cards soon. Picture quality is the best I have seen so far. Some outside clips are so sharp that they seem to be from HD discovery. The picture recorded is very clear. The DVD burner that comes along with it is extremely useful. There is a HDMI that lets you connect to HDTV for instant viewing. It was easy to use from the get. One drawback I found is when I connect to the computer it says that the power adapter needs to connected otherwise it does not let the camera to connect to the computer. That was weird. Weaknesses: Haven't used it much, but the storage is not good enough for me. Summary: You need extra cards when using this beast of a machine, but the quality is well worth it.
