Strengths: - Lower-price alternative to a full-size massager. - Very portable, can be easily carried or stored anywhere. - Reasonably priced, willing to replace it in case of malfunction or when obsolete.
Weaknesses: - Unlike a full-size massager with multiple massaging mechanisms, this portable massager only covers one area at a time.
Summary: I personally think the Homedics Therapist Select product line is an improvement from the company's older products. The portable Shiatsu Pillow is no exception. I can use it to massage any area of my body just by moving the pillow around. Its massage mechanism works wonderfully by applying good pressure in a thumb-like motion. I can easily carry or store this massager anywhere because the small size adds to its portability. The price is very reasonable compared to a full-size massager. Because it didn't cost too much, I'm more willing to replace it with a new massager in case of product malfunction or when a new massager with better technology becomes available in the future.
