Strengths: Price, Appearence, Ease of Use, Remote Control
Weaknesses: Faceplate is too reflective during sunlight
Summary: 2002-09-03 10:22:29 Ever since I wanted to upgrade my Car CD player to an MP3 player, I spent quite a bit of time on the web looking for that next step. Considering I had less than $200 to spend on it, I searched over and over until I found the Jensen MP3510. The faceplate design is quite nice, and I must say it looks even better in real life than in the pictures (especially at night). MP3 disk access, Title displays, reading from sub-directories and sound quality are excellent. The button design and use is very intuitive and it will take you just a few minutes to learn how to use it, plus having the remote control unit makes it very easy to handle all its features. Anti-theft removable faceplate and a red flashing security light are a plus. The only real setback is that during bright sunlight, the faceplate is very reflective and the display becomes hard to read. I would recommend anyone who is looking for their first Car MP3 Player, and not wanting to spend a bundle, to buy this one.
