Strengths: Compact size and non-compact sound, Higher powered sub than other home theatres in a box (8" 100watts)Ability to hook up multiple inputs( ie. video games and TV's. Metal casings on speakers.
Weaknesses: difficult to use remotes (has two seperate remotes one for dvd and one for sound system). No controls on the front of the system(lose the remotes and your screwed).
Summary: I bought this item only because it was priced well below the sticker price as an open box item ($338). I didnt expect it to be that great, and if it wasn't I could return it. After I hooked it up with the fiber connectors I was amazed. The clarity and detail of the sound really surprised me, and the sub booms. The compactness of the speakers is great they are easily hidden away out of sight. All though small they deliver big sound
