Strengths: Sturdy design, ability to get close to a corner, convenient shape
Weaknesses: Have not found one yet
Summary: I've owned one of the previous Black and Decker 3 x 21 belt sander models for the last 6 years (the sander saw a very heavy use, including sanding the fireplace bricks) but, finally, one of the bearings in its motor broke up. It turned out that B&D don't make that mode any more, so, I had to buy a new one. When I finally got the sander in mail, I was pleasantly surprised by it: it seems even sturdier and better quality than its "granpa". Everything is well designed and even the small shortcoming of the old model have been fixed in this! I hope this sander will last as long as my previous one.
Now, time to do some heavy sanding! :-)
