Strengths: The biggest strength of this product is the easy access to answer any calls, and its solid grip. The Treo touch screen and every other button are easily accessible, and latch is well designed.
Weaknesses: The Treo is always exposed. If you drop it, the phone is not protected at all.
Summary: Strongly recommended, you will love it!!!! Other leather cases may look nice, but you may not have the same flexibility/easy to use. Particularly the ones with a plastic film on top of the Treo screen - it minimizes the sensitive of your touch screen.

Strengths: user-friendly, easily attaches to belt
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I purchased this item for my husband as we recently purchased the Treo 650. He is somewhat clumsy and enjoys the comforts that this latch case has provided. Since he can keep the Treo in the case while he is using the Treo, he feels more secure with using the phone without worrying that it will slip from his hands. He comments frequently about how easy it is to move the phone into comfortable positions while standing and sitting. He enjoys the ease of detaching the phone while it is still in the case from the belt clip and using it. He feels this adds to the security of the phone and the sturdiness of it. An added bonus has been when removing the phone from the belt clip the "knot" that remains on the case itself that is used to attach the phone to the belt clip can be used as a way to prop the phone up while it is placed on a table/desk. This unexpected feature allows him to view the screen on the phone without picking the phone up.
He definitely recommends this case for all serious Treo users. Good buy!!!

Strengths: Lightweight, keeps phone available
Weaknesses: Phone can get bumped. (But this has not been a serious problem for me.)
Summary: I bought one when my Treo 650 was new (the first week they came out) and have been happy with it ever since. It keeps the phone handy, and tightly coupled enough to my belt that I can leave it on vibrate all the time and rarely miss an alarm or call.
After a couple of years of knocking around I finally broke the belt clip, and immediately ordered another of the same.

Don't Buy This Clip!
Strengths: None that I can think of.
Weaknesses: The belt clip is simply too tall, and its top often pinched, gouged, and poked me, especially when changing position from standing to sitting. I developed a perennial sore spot on my side from being j
Summary: Don't buy this item. The part that attaches to the phone holds on OK, but -- while it is huge -- it is not designed to offer your phone any protection when it falls (neither on the corners nor on the front, which are all still exposed). And it will fall. That will happen when your clip breaks apart! This was a complete waste of money. If I had any confidence in anyone to make it right, I would try to get a refund of my money. As it is, I am chalking it up to "live and learn" and trying to find a better way to carry my phone. Instead of another clip like this, I think I will look for a case that attaches to my belt, with a Velcro flap that allows me to get the phone in and out of it.

Strengths: All around functional and slick
Weaknesses: At times the TREO pops out when I bend down. Perhaps the release button should be on the side instead of the top.
Summary: The Treo Leather Latch Case is functioning as advertised except for the release button that I would prefer it to be on the side instead of the top of the case. The price was definitely the lowest of all the online sites. Good buy for the money..!

Cheap!
Strengths: Better than carrying in your pocket.
Weaknesses: Treo fall's out easily, side already broke with no real effort.
Summary: My original intent was to use this case on my visor when I am driving. I used it on my belt while I waited for my other case to arrive. It broke when I tried to make it a little tighter so the phone would not fall out. I would recommend a differant carrying case.

Strengths: direct access to screen. Does not block camera. Doesnot block speaker. Does not block mic.
Weaknesses: If you ever need to reset the phone yo need to slide this off to remove the battery cover to gain access to the reset button.
Summary: This is the best clip / case for the Treo if you like to have it on your hip and ready for use within a second. You can tilt it up to view the screen when an appointment reminder rings or call comes in.
The leather holds up pretty well - I get about 18 months of daily use before needing to buy an new one.

This is a nice looking case that definitely does t ...
Strengths: Securely holds the phone, nice look with the leather.
Weaknesses: Leaves phone facing outward, where screen and keyboard are unprotected. Sits a little high due to low clip and connecter placement design.
Summary: This is a nice looking case that definitely does the job well, but the hard plastic holsters that hold the Treo in reverse seem to work equally as effectively and securely, but while much better protecting the keyboard and screen. I'd go that route if I was starting from scratch.

Poor quality control
Strengths: Nice leather. Easily accessible. Holds phone securely.
Weaknesses: Clip on the back of the leather breaks off easily. When the clip breaks your phone falls and that is not good.
Summary: This holster is great although lately it seems they have some quality control issues with the materials. I've broken 2 in the last week. The orginal one I bought lasted 13 months. I would not recommend this holster anymore.

Strengths: Keeps phone and all its interface slots and keys readily accessible, prevents phone from slipping out of your hand, nice build with professional look
Weaknesses: wish it would let the phone stand up vertically like a similar product from speck - also hides the self-potrait mirror. doesnt provide the best protection from falls or scratches
Summary: the leather look is really good looking and professional looking for the price especially at where i bought it from (one of pricegrabber storefront). all the keys, slots and camera are accessible. the clip is little tight to slide in like some others have commented, but that gives me a peace of mind. however the most important reason i bought this was that the knob on the back of the holster fitted exactly with the universal belt-clips that are easily available. i owned such a universal belt-clip for my prior phone which included a stick-on clip for my car dash. so now i can use this holster on the same stick-on clip that is still on my car dash. no complaints so far (definitely none that I cannot live with).

Nice Design but Quality is is Lacking
Strengths: Sleekness and shape - Holding strenght of the sleeve
Weaknesses: Post of the swivel clip sheered off after about 4 months of use.
Summary: 2006-01-31 19:11:10 I would oringinally say that I would not purchase it again, but I do not like the other alternatives. I am purchasing another one to replace the one that broke. Beware.

Treo phone case
Strengths: easy to use
Weaknesses: Bulky, phone sticks out from belt. Easily bumped. Gets in the way.
Summary: The case stays on the phone except for the belt hanger, which stays on the belt. Latching mechanisim on back of case makes the phone awkward to carry if you do not use the belt hanger. You can remove the phone from the case it fits rather tightly.
