Weaknesses: screen driver seems primitive or generic, no WLAN switch is a pain. runs slow considering its power.
Summary: bought as a gift. like the sony brand, own one myself. laptop was to upgrade from an FJ. Overall I would give this one a poor rating. separate media buttons seemed to add convenience, but it doesn't have a WiFi switch. this proved to be a problem, since the software for managing the connection is apparently very buggy, and we've had many problems connecting. also the screen isn't as clear as most vaios, appearing blurry next to my tiny TX even at the highest resolution. also it runs and boots VERY slow, crawls, I would even say. Settle for not having a pretty case and get another model.
