Okay but not better than "old" technologies
Strengths: Multi-phone system works well, with reliable quality. Answer machine easy to operate.
Weaknesses: Not very clear, and less distance.
Summary: I originally purchased this phone for my own use. It's a 5.8GHz analog phone w/ answering machine. It's very similar to my old 900MHz Uniden phone from both menu design to anser machine operation, except for the frequency. I thought since it's not interfering my home wifi, it'd be very clear. Wrong! Uniden might have dropped the ball on this model since the voice doesn't sound very clear. I don't know if it's the 5.8GHz phone's common problem, but this is a little frustrating for me. I ended up sending this as a gift to my sister who doesn't care too much about the sound quality... I bought another set with different freq. instead. Still, the rest works well, and the sound quality is acceptable, so if you could get it at a low price, I'd still recommend it.
