Strengths: Lightweight, easy to use
Weaknesses: Volume could be a little louder. Sometimes the ear clip can get uncomfortable. Microwave oven interference can cause a call to drop.
Summary: 2005-07-09 21:47:06 Overall, I think the unit is well worth the money. It's lightweight and easy to use. It would be nice if it had an off switch, but otherwise it performs very well with my Motorola Razr.

Strengths: AAA battery, very long talk time and standby time, excellent sound quality
Weaknesses: earhook does not fit well
Summary: used to have sony ericsson bluetooth headset. it was rechargeable. i fried the battery by overcharging it. just lasted for less than two months. with this as my second bluetooth headset, i can talk as long as i want for the talk time for a new AAA battery is 22 hours. I dont have to worry for low battery, i just carry an extra AAA in my pocket. no more overcharging with a disposable AAA. best of all audio is excellent. one weakness is the earhook that does not fit well. overall it is a great gadget.

Although a lot of weaknesses it is not a bad devic ...
Strengths: takes AAA battery, lightweight, long batter life, fits well and can hear well outside my car (office or home).
Weaknesses: When in the car it starts to cut out a little but not enough to be really bad and the other person on the other end hears a slight echo (echo is no matter where I use it whether quiet area or in car).
Summary: Although a lot of weaknesses it is not a bad device, if it was a little cheaper than competitors with better sound quality for about the same price I would definitely recommend it then.

Strengths: Voice is clear and easy to pair with Bluetooth devices
Weaknesses: Ear hook is not comfortable for long wearing
Summary: I bought this headset for internet phone conversation. It is easy to set up and pair with my USB bluetooth adapter with my computer. It uses AAA battery so I do not need to charge it before use. The sound is clear and now I can walk and talk around instead sitting in front of the computer all the time. It even has longer talk time than the other Motorola bluetooth headset.

Strengths: No wires & clear audio
Weaknesses: Does not fit very snug on small ears
Summary: This bluetooth headset has worked great during the time I have had it so far. The audio is clear & I love the ease of use. The only weakness I have found is how loose the earpiece is on my ear. If you do alot of movement where you have to bend over while using it, it might slip off if you turn your head to the side. Other than that I really don't have anything bad to say about it. It serves it's purpose for me.

Motorola Bluetooth headset HS805 - VSP1150 from Virginia
Strengths: Long talk time. Voice is very clear. Easy to pair with Motorola V710. Interchangeable, left or right ear hook.
Weaknesses: Ear Peice is too loose...Conversations can be overhead from bystanders. I've been warned about this twice. The battery door is not easy to open. It can fall off the ear is you turn head quickly.
Summary: Button is sensitive; a "re-dail" can happen quickly if you aren't careful. This bluetooth, Motorola HS805 is a good "free" promotional offer for a cell phone like some companies are doing at this time. The sound quality is good, but it is very loose fitting. The quality of reception is very good, however, I am not sure I would purchase this unit again. It came as a promotional with the phone. I would look for something more comfortable.

Strengths: excellent clarity for both speaking and listening.
Weaknesses: buttons are too sensitive. slight bump and if the headset is active, the phone redials last number. the battery cover doesn't open enough, can make changing the battery a nusiance.
Summary: overall, (even with its weaknesses) i would purchase this product again. i found it to be confortable enough for me to use for a significant period of time without my ear starting to hurt (like my old wired headsets).

Strengths: - Good Range
- Good Input/Output Strength
Weaknesses: - Sits to loosely on ear
- May become uncomfortable
Summary: Very useful for driving and other operations where you need both your hands. The Motorola Bluetooth Headset might be difficult for those who wear glasses (like myself) and it might be hard to hear some conversations with people who don't speak too loud.
Otherwise, the headset works very well, very convenient. I think though as far as the looseness on the ear is kind of overrated. It feels like its gonna fall off, but it doesnt come off that easily, just make sure its completely around your ear when you put it on.

Motorola Bluetooth Headset HS805
Strengths: It's wireless, and cheap.
Weaknesses: Painful after a few hours. Poor sound quality. Difficulty with voice commands.
Summary: 2005-07-20 15:16:28 Painful after a few hours, I looked forward to getting the thing off. Mostly, it fit snugly, but it had this insecure flopping action when turning from side to side. The sound quality was poor and I had lots of crackling noise. My LG PM325 had trouble understanding voice commands in what I would call moderately high noise areas. The primary activation button appears easy to locate and use. However, I found its flush design sometimes difficult to feel. For the price I paid at Wal-Mart, I would have rather coughed up an additional $30 dollars for something better.

Motorola HS805 BT Headset
Strengths: Light,Uses 1 AAA Battery
Weaknesses: "Looks" big and heavy, low sound
Summary: Used it with a Treo 650 and worked fine but would only recommend using it if you get it free with the purchase of a BT phone or as in my case FREE AFTER REBATE. Sound was low (in the callers end) and not clear, had to repeat myself. My first BT headset so can't compare but I wouldn't recommend buying it at the prices sold at stores.

Loose fit
Strengths: Long battery life
Weaknesses: loose fit, echo
Summary: I changed earpiece for left ear and it does not feel comfortable. Many callers complain of loud echo. If at all possible you should try a Bluetooth on before buying to see if it is comfortable. The echo problem may cause me to ditch the device.
