 Not Up to Standard Strengths: ViewSonic Name Brand caused me to purchase this unit since I own other components that delivered both quality and price. Simple to set up.
Weaknesses: In the case of the WMA100 the unit does not work each time and needs to be reset often.Support is almost non existent.
Summary: I am a tecky kind of guy that loves the latest stuff and want to be first on my block with this and that gadget. In this case I should of waited until they get the bugs out. My unit only works 25% of the time and other times just goes out to hyberspace and does not come back when searching for music, pictures, or video. The only thing that works each time is the net radio which makes this a very expensive unit for that use. I even upgraded my wireless modem from b to b/g to give this unit every chance of success. I do not know if this is just a problem with my unit or a common problem with the WMA100.
But bottom line is do not waste your money and wait until this product is improved or investigate other sources for wireless media adapters. It is always an adventure being first in this great arena of technology but it can also be painful and costly.
