Summary: Let me start by suggesting that you go to J & RMusic World and look up this product. Note that the information suggests you CALL their customer service number and get their “latest price” on this shaver. (It lists for $199.95) I was able to get it at a significant savings over the published price. If you follow that one little bit of advice, and read no further, you will have benefited from reading this far.
The Panasonic line of shavers is very confusing. They make many models with different names but appear to be identical to others. Take your time and go to the Panasonic web site and compare the various shavers, accessories, and prices. Again, if you follow only this little bit of advice you will be well served by reading this review. This like most of the others in the line is a wet/dry shaver. Read carefully
This shaver comes with a pouch, a few pages of operating instructions, plastic cap, and a charging cord. This unit does NOT have a self cleaning system and you only use soap and water to clean. (You are supposed to turn on the turbo setting to cleaning so far this worked quickly and well, and it’s a lot cheaper than buying the cleaning solution.) BUT THAT IS ALL YOU GET.
The shave itself was excellent. Fast, free of razor drag, quick to clean in the shower, and quiet in operation. It left my face very smooth feeling, well groomed, and irritation free. Since the shaver is designed to be used in the shower, one would think there would be a cord to hang over a hook. There is none, which means you will need some place to leave the razor after you are done shaving.
I shaved dry once, I noticed no difference in shaves. I like to shave in the shower because its faster, not better.
If you do your homework, and feel that this razor meets your needs, I think you will be very pleased with the operation of this unit.
