Strengths: Mic pickup, audio quality.
Weaknesses: Boom is a bit clunky for stashing in pocket.
Summary: 2005-03-22 10:51:07 Very clear mic pickup compared to any other headset I've tried. I wanted an earpiece and hands-free mic, but tried several and the performance of the mic and audio both were unacceptable. I didn't intend to buy another until I saw that Shure made one. I figured if anyone could make a good mic, it would be a professional microphone company. The earpiece is very comfortable to wear and has excellent audio. Good quality clip for pinning on a collar or lapel. The boom style mic is a bit cumbersome to tuck in your pocket, and I'm sure it could be damaged by rough handling. This is a small sacrifice for a superior product and design.

Strengths: Good sound quality - good isolation if your ear is shaped right, superb voice quality for speech. The noise cancelling mic works perfectly and the boom puts it where it should be - don't shout.
Weaknesses: The part with the ear insert is rigid, and doesn't hit my ear at the right angle so the seal is imperfect. Works well anyway - your results may vary.
Summary: I work in a kiosk in a very noisy mall, so my headset is critical for me. After trying 3 different bluetooth and 4 or 5 wired sets, this is the one I use all the time. I can hear my callers clearly, and they hear me clearly and without all the background noise - very professional.

I wish the earpiece was flexible, but other than that, it's a beauty. Comfy and light for all day wear, eay on/ easy off and good in the car too. Get one.

Strengths: * Blocks out external noise * Microphone noise cancellation works extremely well, even in very noisy & windy environments
Weaknesses: Earphone can be off-putting - completely fills your ear. Changes sinus pressure. Can be uncomfortable to wear for too long.
Summary: This is the only mobile headset that I've been able to find that I can use in a convertible with the top down at freeway speeds.

Strengths: Good sound quality both on receiving and transmitting ends; flexible and therefore durable
Weaknesses: ear hook is too flexible so it falls off my ear
Summary: Good sound quality both on receiving and transmitting ends. Flexible and therefore durable, but by the same token, because the ear hook is rubber and flexible, it doesn't stay hanging from my ear. So I spend a lot of time fumbling around trying to get it to stay. Would be better if ear-inserts came in different sizes too -- it's a little too big for my ears.

Strengths: Great sound, very loud and clear reception, clear output
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I'm a fan of Sure in the ear portable stereo headphones and when I spotted their telephone headset I just had to try it. All I can say is that it exceeded my expectations.

Strengths: Sound Quality. Seems durable.
Weaknesses: Boom does not adjust.
Summary: Need to use mike cover included so it does not pick up backround noise. The sound quality is excellent - I have to turn down my phone volume it is so loud and clear.

Strengths: Light, good quality microphone and headset.
Weaknesses: Microphone bome not long enough.
Summary: This is a great headset with good quality however the boom for the microphone is not long enough in my opinion. This is my only complanint. Other than this it is top of the line for wired headsets.
