Summary: Can't pick songs and enter them into a queue at the player. You must use Music Match to generate Playlists and then download them into the player. Manufacturer's advertising: "Program Mode allows the user to program individual songs for a custom playlist." This is misleading. Device is unreliable. It sometimes hangs when it is counting files after USB connector is unplugged. Running scandisk reveals some files are corrupted on player Controls are extremely sluggish. The display is even worse. Music sometimes pauses for a few seconds during a song when processor gets behind. Remote control is unreliable. It is necessary to press buttons several times to get the player to respond. Bass response is very poor even with bass control set to maximum. I tried using my Sony headphones (which have excellent bass) but bass response with the Roq-it player was still poor. I tried the headphones supplied with the Roq-it on my PC. The bass response was adequate, indicating that the problem is definitely with the player. This test was performed with the same mp3 files In order to fit well into a home stereo system, the DC adapter connector and the line out connector should be located on the other end of the unit, which would be the back. The position of the headphone connector and line out connector should be swapped. The battery compartment door cover appears to be very fragile for a portable device. As of 1/13/02 there was no online support for player at As of 1/1
