 save your money Strengths: quiet operation
Weaknesses: no customer support. juice left in pulp. plastic housing stains. Juicer and warranty not as advertised.
Summary: Motor failed after half dozen uses. Returned juicer to company with check for return shipping and handling. Company denies receiving juicer yet check for return shipping was cashed. Several calls to customer service were complete waste of my time. Customer service personnel were rude.

 Jack LaLanne Juicer cheaply made Strengths: Juiced well
Weaknesses: Plastic part of motor housing
Summary: I enjoyed using this juicer until it broke. The plastic part of the motor housing that you screw the blade onto fell apart. It should be made out of metal. I don't know why it isn't. I won't buy another one. I thought it did a good job juicing.

Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer
Strengths: Quiet
Weaknesses: cloggs up with whole fruit (apple, peeled Orange) The basket and blade flimsey
Summary: I thought I was upgrading my juicer, I had a Juiceman 11 and it lasted more than a year,even though I used it everyday. I bought the Jack La'Lanne Juicer in Target after watching the TV Commercial, It was quiet I will give it that. It is large and takes up a lot of counter space. I did not find that it gave me 30% more juice, and it got clogged up if I put a whole fruit down the shute. So I was still cutting my fruit up and it did not like kale and collards it took a long time and a lot of poking to get them through the Juicer. I took it basck to Target and bought a Juiceman 11 and I love it

not what you see on tv
Strengths: wide chute
Weaknesses: poorly designed
Summary: after only 3 month we are ready to put our jack alalanne in our next yard sale . it don't hold true to what you see on tv. The base that hold the juice don't seal and jucice is every were. i will never buy his brand of juicer again.

doesn't "cut" it. Structurally the parts warp and are lousy and don't fit well..
Strengths: Juices OK when working...
Weaknesses: Parts warp and want fit together correctly afte shot time (10 weeks)
Summary: Top cover and receiver that houses blade warped and blade
forced against top cover after 10 weeks daily use. Juices good but not made well anf poor structural/materials design.
Plastic parts are flimsy, poorly fitting and they warp...

Jack Lalanne power juicer warranty a joke
Strengths: fairly quiet, extracts most of the juice...
Weaknesses: Motor housing falls apart starting immediately..
Summary: After about 9 months of occasional use plastic turntable on motor housing craked and fell into pieces. I called customer service and their reply was that if I couldn't prove it was purchased through them, they could only replace the "lifetime warranteed" motor for $49.95. Come on! No matter where it was purchased, they ALL originate from the same company! This is the worst company policy ever, ANY other company would gladly stand behind their product no matter where it was purchased.

Avoid this Juicer!
Strengths: Wide Chute
Weaknesses: Very Poor Quality
Summary: Save your money for a better quality juicer. This Chinese Juicer has a platform that supports the blade that cracked after using unit only about a dozen times over a period of six months. Company service is terrible. Would not back up the unit other than to offer to sell me another base including the motor for $50.00, half the price of a new unit. Look for a juicer made of sturdier components (American Made would be nice also!)

Good juice, BAD design
Strengths: Makes good juice
Weaknesses: BAD design
Summary: After only 4 months of use, the screw peg on my Jack LaLanne Juicer broke into three pieces. Customer service insisted it was a good design and only wonted to sell me another motor at $50. Why would I won't to spend $50 on an inferrior product

Poor design, buy another brand
Strengths: zero
Weaknesses: Plastic threads on motor base break.
Summary: I went to an estate sale the other day and was so happy to find a Jack La Lanne's Power jucer for sale. It looked brand new as if it had never been used. Then this morning I tryed it out only to find out that the blade which threads on to the motor was stripped off the motor shaft. I would never go to the expense of 50 dollars to replace the motor to make it work. The threads are so small that I know it would break again a short time later.
