    Product Experience:
    4 Days
Strengths: Temperature control, tilt control, multiple plates that are removable so they are easy to clean.
Weaknesses: cooking surface is a little small
Summary: This is the third Foreman grill I have owned. The first was the small one with the bun warmer, the second was the largest version with a huge cooking surface and no bun warmer. It was cumbersome and hard to clean since the plates were not removable. We just purchased this and I have already used it multiple times. I really like the temperature control. It's nice to not be "full steam ahead" all the time. It's also nice to be able to turn it off before unplugging it so that it doesn't spark like the other grills did.

The removable plates allow for a variety of cooking options because they have different designs. The waffle maker worked well once I figured out that I needed to make the batter a bit thicker than the directions on the waffle mix called for as well as use 2/3 (maybe a bit more) cup of batter on EACH side of the waffle makes. The foreman directions made it seem like it was 2/3 for the whole thing. Also, I learned that when it said 5-7 minutes that it is important to keep the lid down that long because if you open it there is a big mess and it won't cook properly (this is for waffles only).

I made pork chops with the steak plate on top and the grilling plate on the bottom. They cooked wonderfully. No complaints whatsoever.

The ability to switch the plates also means that there is the ability to wash the plates separately in the dishwasher. This is a huge plus for me. My old foreman was so big that it was nearly impossible to get cleaned efficiently. This is a piece of cake-pop off the plates and handwash or dishwasher wash-no problem!

The removability of the plates makes up for the slighttly small cooking surface. It could be a bit bigger but I was able to easily cook three, 1 inch thick porkchops in one setting.

Another positive feature of this grill is that you can tilt it (when you want grease to drain, etc) or you can make it flat (like cooking waffles). That is a neat feature as well.

Overall I am very happy with this grill. It has a bit of a "cheap" feel to it because the plates don't go into the grill firmly but I think that is to allow for some flexibility when cooking.

I'd give this grill 4/5 stars.

Strengths: Options, adjustable height
Weaknesses: Plates not getting hot enough
Summary: I was super excited about getting this machine, I had just had a terrible experience with the Rocket Grill so I returned it and purchased this. First the things I loved and still love the plates are awesome easy to take on and off and clean up is a breeze. (This is my second George Foreman my first was a small one with the bun warmer.) What I don't like and this is almost a deal breaker for me is that the plates feel loose and don't get as hot in my opinion as the machines that do not have the removable plates. Still I think a little on the pricey side but fun and easy to use.
