Strengths: Lots of charge for daily use.
Long life with no trouble.
Great prices.
Weaknesses: None that I have found.
Summary: This is an identical manufacturer's replacement for the original battery which lasted over two years now. It still take a decent charge, but started to show some slight charge degradation which is why I ordered a new one to have standing by. And I was expecting that the replacement would be selling for $50+, but was pleasantly surprised that it available at relatively inexpensive prices.

Strengths: -Fits all Treo phones without a special battery cover
-Available at very low price
-Reasonable battery life
Weaknesses: -Battery life is less than extended life batteries
Summary: I use my Treo for everything, so I run my battery down a lot. I decided against a high capacity battery because of cost (at least 3x more expensive) and because of the flexibility of having two batteries.
I use this battery with a spare charger (the miniature palm charger). That way I can always have a fresh battery waiting.
I'll be the first to admit: if you're a heavy user, these standard 1800 mAh batteries wear down quickly. But considering the cost of a spare battery (less than $10 including S&H) and the cost of the mini charger (less than $20), this makes a great option to keep you going.
Plus let's face it, batteries wear out after a year or two anyway (I've heard numbers as high as 20% decrease in capacity per year for Li-Ion batteries). These things are so inexpensive, it's no big deal to buy another!

Strengths: The battery lasts for at least 4 years. bought another just for backup.
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I had a problem with my phone not the battery. Sprint 650 I got it replaced and the battery is the same for my new treo 700. What a pleasant surprize. I got the battery in 2 days. I'll be back.

Strengths: Genuine Palm product, so a good warranty.
Weaknesses: Cheaper & longer lasting would be nice.
Summary: Spare battery is a must if you use a Bluetooth earpiece, as the Treo battery life seems to be cut in half; at least that's my experience.
I highly recommend getting the $48 cradle w/ built in spare battery charger from Palm (item #3198WWZ) or the $20 spare battery charger from Palm (item #3293WW); prices as of 12/2007. This sure beats having to remove the battery and place the dead one in over night.

Strengths: good battery talk time and standby time as well.
Weaknesses: gets hot sometimes during charging.
Summary: Overall, would buy it again anytime as it doubles my talk time with 2 batteries. The previous one is still working just that the talk time has reduced to 1 day as compared to 2-3 days when it was new. This new battery is giving the same performance as before.

 A good back up for your treo Strengths: easy to use, nothing wired
Weaknesses: doesn't last too long.
Summary: I use treo all day long, and decided to get a backup. This one seems to be the only choice.
Received, nothing supprise, easy to replace, but again, for heavey user, it doesn't last long enough.

treo 650 needs an extra battery
Strengths: size
Weaknesses: doent last long enough
Summary: What can you say about a battery? It is necessary to have an extra one with the Treo 650. I find I work through my battery by the end of the day using the phone, my enfora wi-fi sled and docs to go. I am comforted to know I have a backup if I need it. I only wish these batteries had more power. Just be sure to have an extra and you will be OK.

Summary: 2006-01-03 17:59:15 If you get the Palm Desktop Cradle for the Treo 650, you should consider getting the extra battery. As there is charging space for it as well as the phone. I like the flexibility of having two batteries as having one charged, saves me from having to wait for my phone to finish charging.
This is an excellent battery, it charges & discharges without any noticible memory effects.
