Strengths: about the same performance as my 8600GT and do not draw as much power as 8800GTS. Better ATI catalyst software vs Nvidia.
Weaknesses: Noise fan speed and not as good as 8600GTS
Summary: I like the feature of ATI Catalyst software where I am able to put full screen video on my second monitor. Too bad Nvidia disable this feature on their latest software update. Only my concern is the fan is loud. Other than that, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Strengths: easy to install, good performance
Weaknesses: too noisy sometimes
Summary: Easy to install, the output picture is pretty good and high resolution is supported. The card is compatible with directx10, which means more functions are available. The card can be used to play HD-DVD. The fan on the card is too noisy at some time, and that is kind of annoying.

3 Star ReviewOk 2600XT video card
Strengths: 512MB memory, directx 10 supported
Weaknesses: the temperature is kind of high
Summary: The installation is quite easy. The video performance is good, and the speed is pretty fast due to the 512 MB memory on the card. I am choosing it because I have an AMD desktop, and this ATI chip card is quite compatible with the motherboard. However, I have to say that the temperature is too high.

Strengths: Solid performer for gaming. Dual DVI for dual monitor
Weaknesses: Kind of noisy
Summary: Easy to install. Dual DVI works great with XP, got my dual monitor setup I wanted. Gaming performance is good for me. It's kind of a noisy card though, so I'm not sure I'd want this for a HTPC. Bonus is being able to play HD DVDs

Strengths: DVI,HDMI,and VGA output. 512 MB video ram,and Vista compatible.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: Basically, I wanted to upgrade to a card that would allow me to play HD DVD disk. However, after the high definition format war was over, it seem that I was on the losing team. So I can not comment to much on the HD quality of the card, however everything else is right on time. It generates a good clean picture with vibrant colors and a sharp display. Does not load the processor with the of generating the picture on the monitor, and outputs to three different connectors: VGA, DVI, HDMI. The card has 3D graphics also. I would recommend because it is cheap, capable, and vista compatible.

Strengths: With HDMI out put
Weaknesses: The fan is noise
Summary: 2008-07-31 16:22:17 The card compatible with AMD based motherboard very well. Not like my other Nv card always freeze the system. However, the fan is really noise than the other I have used. Performance is good but not excellent.
