Summary: This coffee maker is an absolute mess. Wondering if faberware has a test kitchen. This unit is way to tall and opening for water is way to small!!!! What a mess every morning trying to make coffee. This should come with a life time supply of paper towels. We are supposed to be conserving our natural resourses. ie: trees, but I must go through a roll of paper towels in a week to clean up t

Farberware Brews a Winner

Strengths: 12 Cups gives you Coffee all day long | Programmable | Attractive Stainless Steel Finish

Weaknesses: The tall, but not wide water reservoir, makes NOT spilling water a challenge

Summary: I got this after the LNT sale and I have to say that I am very impressed with this coffee maker. It makes coffee blistering fast and makes plenty of it to boot. My biggest issue with it is the water reservoir. Being extremely tall with a very narrow opening, spilling water is almost always going to happen. This design flaw unfortunately does take away much of the appeal of this beautiful coffee maker.

Not my favorite

Strengths: Makes 12 cups of coffee at a time

Weaknesses: Plain design, akward buttons and display, hard to pour water

Summary: Looking at the box, this coffee maker looked nice. But after taking it out and putting it in my kitchen, it looks retro compared to my other appliances. The buttons, display, and the coffee pot itself make it look so old-fashioned. It is difficult to pour water into the back without spilling it on the counter. I personally will be looking for another coffee maker that better matches my other appliances, and is a little eaiser to use.

Farberware FCM12SS Good looking Great price- but couple of issues

Strengths: * Looks asthetically great with stainless steel look * Makes good cup of coffee * Good capacity with 12 cups of coffee

Weaknesses: * As others have reported, water input is small and causes spills

Summary: Overall, I am happy with this purchase considering the price after rebate is very affordable, but minor inconvenience with the filling it up with water. I have not played around with programming features. There is a clock but it is not backlighted.

Faberware Stainless Steel Coffee Maker

Strengths: It makes a good cup of coffee. The controls are easy to use and the programming feature is easy to set.

Weaknesses: The water intake point is very small and restrictive; we have a flex head kitchen faucet which allows us to fill using the faucet head. Tall unit- must be pulled out from under cabinet to open top.

Summary: This was an excellent buy on sale with a rebate. It is very similar in appearance and design of the internal components to Cuisinart and several other makes. It makes good coffee so far but I can not speak to its endurance.

Recommend that you purchase a permanent gold filter instead of using paper filters as the gold does not come with this machine.

My rating of very good does not consider it's durability.

Nice looks and overall decent appliance

Strengths: Nice looking body with no worries about staining. I never used a timer coffee maker for home and this one does a good job. I have mine on a 'high' counter top and need adjustment with filling water.

Weaknesses: Need a little better water filling area. The buttons on the machine are good but not great

Summary: Other than my little issue with filling water, this is an overall great coffee machine for the price. I would rather go through a few of these than pay $100 for a coffee machine

Faberware 12 cup programmable

Strengths: Brewing strength is a very good feature not seen in other coffee makers. Also auto shut off and programmable features are nice.

Weaknesses: The opening to pour the water is very small and the design could have been improved on this aspect.

Summary: I bought this since I felt it was a very good deal 12 bucks. I brewed my first cup of coffee and decided it was worth the price.

I wake up everyday to warm cup of coffee and start my day well. The only problem that I face is with regards to the opening for pouring water which is very small.

Strengths: Large 12 cup programmable auto shut off drip stop

Weaknesses: not as nice as an undercounter

Summary: Farberware FCM12SS 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker in Stainless Steel, is a nice addition to any countertop replacing all my yellowing white appliances. I like the automatic drip off and auto shut off. Another nice feature is the brewing strength of the coffee a must have.
