Strengths: Power brush with Gentle mode option. Helpful 2 minutes Usage Guide
Weaknesses: Expensive
Summary: I had much cheaper power toothbrush for almost two years before I decided to buy this one. I can tell a big different in how clean my teeth are now and then. I like 2 minutes guide which helps remind you every 30 seconds to shift to clean different area of your teeth with a total of 2 minutes. I took it on a one week trip without charger and it worked fine the whole time. Instructions states that it could last up to 2 weeks between the charges.

Strengths: Well constructed and it cleans teeth very well.
Weaknesses: Rather pricey
Summary: I have used this toothbrush for a while now and have been quite satisfied with this purchase. This unit is on the pricey side. But I think it is worth the cost. I had a previous model which served me very well for several years. Its charger went dead while traveling aboard because I hooked it up to 220v through a step down transformer. So one of the features this unit has that attracted me was the smart charger that can figure out what the input voltage is. I have not had a chance to test it out yet. But the battery holds its charge so well that for short trip ~ 1 week one does not even need to bring the charger. I also like the battery status that is shown on the handle. It gives you a good idea when you need to plug it in. The handle fits in my hand very comfortably but my wife thinks it is a bit big. Of course the most important factor is how well it cleans your teeth. It performs very well there. I have one caution to anyone who has not used the brush head. It has 4 pointy rubber pieces that are a bit rough on your gum. I bought 3 replacement heads along with this unit. I would not recommend doing that until you have tried out the brush head. I am getting used to it now but when I first started using the toothbrush I had wished that I purchased the traditional brush heads.

Strengths: Build quality, battery indicator
Weaknesses: Charger
Summary: It has a very good build quality, comparing to the previous power toothbrush I had (that one lasted only one and half years). The battery indicator is also very nice, although the lowest bar seems to last the longest.

The so called smart charger is weak. It is supposed to allow you travel with it and supports 220V. However, when I plug it in a 220V overseas, it only worked for a few minutes and then quits. As a result, I had to use the brush manually on that trip. I think it is probably just a QC problem with the charger.

Strengths: Excellent job of cleaning and polishing teeth. My teeth are much brighter than they were before using the 9400. Results were almost immediate.
Weaknesses: The "smiley face" timer is difficult to see while brushing. However, I usually brush for more than 2 minutes because the experience is so pleasant.
Summary: Highly recommend this product. We had used a Sonic Care brush for several years. We find this product to be clearly superior in all categories.

Strengths: Good toothbrush w/ great cleaning action
Weaknesses: None that I can see for now.
Summary: I like the stand and the portable charger that comes with it. The traveling case is great for traveling to protect your tootbrush. The charger for home is the same for traveling. You just leave the base at home.
