The separate RF receiver unit has a built-in digital amplifier for the surround speakers, which dramatically improves sound quality over conventional wireless systems, and it can be used up to 100 feet away from the transmitter. The HTB-S610's A/V reveiver has a maximum surround power output of 100 watts x 5, and provides Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES surround for life-like movie sound -- and it's perfect for your music, too.
