2 Star ReviewM853 Red
Strengths: Compact and good looking
Weaknesses: Long lag, no power adapter and picture quality average in low light
Summary: 2007-11-20 22:16:12 This camera is compact and can fit in pocket. The shape is good I like it. But the picture quality is not very good lacks sharpness. There is a long lag between pictures, it take a lot of time after taking the picture to save it in the memory. Operate on Li-ion battery so can take many shots. Does not come with power adapter so you need your computer to charge the battery.

Strengths: Compact, easy to use, takes pretty good pictures, & is compatable with SD memory card.
Weaknesses: Only able to charge it while connected with a USB cord.. Talk about a pain!
Summary: I would recommend the M853 for someone that isn't very experienced with digital cameras. It is very easy to use, and the dial on the top makes changing the camera's function even easier. The pictures the camera takes aren't too bad either.. granted they're not as sharp as a $400.00 camera.. but you get what you pay for, right?! I also like the compact size of the Kodak M853.. I can put it in my purse or my jacket with no problem at all! The only thing that I would change is how the camera is charged.. with a USB cord that must be hooked up to a computer.. so unfortunately this camera is not an option for someone that doesn't own or have access to a computer.
