Strengths: Very clear sound, covers a very good of sound. Bass is clean, deep, and rich. Mids are great, highs are good too. This pair sounds better than most home systems.....Have a good sound card.
Weaknesses: Volume raised to high will distort a little, but not much.. Can't place speakers on the wall and kinda obscure to place, but overall a very good set of speakers..
Summary: Altec has improved a great deal...They were known for bass on their speaker set now the have a much better range..Still not as good as Klisphe or Monsoon but close.!
