Strengths: Compact and extremely easy to set up.
Weaknesses: None that I can see.
Summary: My entire home network consists of Linksys products and I have to say that their components work almost flawlessly! Linksys' customer support proves itself time after time. Emails are responded to within specified times and even their phone support is to be commended. Updates to drivers and firmware can easily be located on their website. Bravo!

Strengths: Small, compact, good indicator lights, no fan, 15-second set-up time.
Weaknesses: smaller than expected
Summary: I've read some reviews that complain about mis-aligned indicator lights--this unit was perfect. The physical size is smaller than Linksys' other products; that is, this unit does not have the same chassis dimensions as the Linksys router or Linksys cable modem, for example. This was a bit of a negative for me, as this switch will not sit "nicely" with my other Linksys product, it has to sit next to them. No fan equals quiet running--an essential for home office or small office. Easy set-up, just a matter of seconds from box to a working intranet.

Strengths: Everything! Awesome product!
Weaknesses: None!
Summary: This product was a total Plug-n-Play piece of equipment. Immediately managed all of my home network devices which includes 2 TCP/IP USB devices, 2 SAN units and 3 other computers. I personally have all Linksys products which to me meets the high standards for both personal and professional networking.

Strengths: good quality and price
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I used this product to extend my wire Internet, and this product is really easy to install. I just connected this with my existing Linksys router, and the router would assign an virtual IP to this switch, and then I could add the other seven ports to support my other computers. SUPER GOOD.

Strengths: Reliable and solid both in build and performance
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I had the 4 port model for about 2 years until the socket were you insert the power adapter broke due to years of mishandling and bending in a cramped location. I replaced the old switch with the 8 port model, and no complaints for about a year now. I put it in a better location behind some shelves and I have not touched it ever since it was installed. Talk about maintenance-free.
