Strengths: Strong suction. Decent attachments. Auto cord rewind is priceless. Emptying trash bin is best I have seen on a bagless.
Weaknesses: Assembly a bit confusing due to manual (have to read ahead to see how to put handle on). Noisy but all vacs are now. HEAVY!
Summary: I think this is a good vac. It is a little heavier than the ones I have in house (2). Both are dead or near dead so I hope Panasonic's quality is as good as their TV sets. Assembly can be a bit confusing if you don're read the whole manual first. The handle has can't simply be slid in and no mention of the lever that allows for it to go in is in the assembly section. If you read ahead, there is a mention of it in the use area that tells you how to adjust the handle length. Overall impressions are good though it is a bit heavier than the other 2 bagless I have in house.

Strengths: Very well made. Functional design. Retractable cord.
Weaknesses: Would have liked the grip on the handle to be angled a little more.
Summary: This is an excellent vacuum, it sucks up the dirt very well. I wasn't sure if the "aerospin" was a gimmick or not.Turns out to be a super idea. I vacuumed with my old Dirt Devil then used this and was impressed with how much the Dirt Devil didn'nt pick up. I was looking for a quality vacuum that DID what it is supposed to I finally found one.

Strengths: SOLID UNIT-EASY TO ASSEMBLE--TOOK APPOX. 5 MINUTES.PRACTICAL TOOLS-RETRACTABLE CORD A GREAT FEATURE
Weaknesses: VERY HEAVY!!!
Summary: I always had good experiences with panasonic products so I ordered this with good faith in the company. I had another vacuum before this that was from a brand that is synonymous with vacuums and, although it was also 12 amps, it didn't seem to be able to suck up the dirt...this machine proved itself immediately!Time will tell if the filter self-clean system really works or it may be just a gimmic but it does very well what it is meant to do: VACUUM up the dirt! A side benefit is the workout you get if you need to bring it up or down stairs--all kidding aside, it IS a heavy unit but that's the trade-off I'm willing to make to get good performance.
