Strengths: Nice design.
Smooth shave.
A lot quieter than my old Norelco rotary. Sounds like angels singing.
Powerful trimmer.
Low cost, around $50.
Can wash and use in the shower!
Weaknesses: Non-high speed motor. But how much of a difference does it make?
Extra money saved in your pocket will cause you buy more things at the store.
Summary: This is a linear shaver instead of rotary, so it cuts differently. I had always found rotaries lacking in that I had to go over my neck areas a bunch of times just to get minimal results. Then I had to double-back with a little linear. This cuts MUCH quicker and leaves my face very smooth, with a better job on my neck. I have not experienced any irritation/bleeding, even on my sensitive skin. I had read the reviews for all the Panasonics and was very impressed with the brand, went into BestBuy and bought one although it wasnt even one of the ones I had researched. I'm very happy with it though. Didn't buy the one with the highspeed motor for $30 more. I like the washable feature to clean it; much easier than dirty hair and brushing with the Norelco. The trimmer feels like it can mow down a few acres of rainforest. Buy Panasonic! The other reviews back me up.
