Strengths: Few
Weaknesses: Inability to obtain satellite signal.
Summary: I bought this unit in Nov '07. I am a field service person that installs medical equipment. I make repeat trips to my installation sites infrequently, so a GPS unit is ideal for finding my way. Unfortunalely, the i5 is virtually worthless since it takes from 5 - 30 minutes or more to get a satellite signal. I've had this problem in Chicago, Boston and New York. If it were only when between high buildings, it would be understandable, but I find this problem when out in the open. I am getting rid of this unit and am buying another(needless to say, not from Garmin). This was literally a total waste of money.
