Strengths: EASY to use, clear controls, good remote, HANDLED ERRORS on MP3 disk that others did not. Weaknesses: Doesn't display entire file name, but that's a weakness found in all the others I've seen. Summary: I don't normally take time to write reviews. This product impressed me. Easy to move through folders on MP3 disks. Intuative controlls. Most of all, my personally made MP3 test disk (to test real world conditions, rather than a factory provided disk) would not play at all in several other players. The panasonic found errors on a few tracks, but recovered to play the other tracks. The other players simply gave up. The controlls are also FAR more user friendly than almost any other. I and a much less tech-savy friend found this to be the best control setup we've seen on an in dash MP3 player.
