Strengths: Clarity, balance, stay put, comfort
Weaknesses: Price?
Summary: I had the Super.fi Pros for 2 years before upgrading to the Triple.fis and while the Pros are an excellent value (in my opinion the best price-performance dual-driver in-ear monitors or IEMs as they are often called), the Triples are simply exceptional. Music is more balanced and clearer compared to the Pros and, as a result, I am hearing different instruments and beats that I couldn't hear before with the Pros. Isolation is also excellent and I feel that, for some reason, they are even more comfortable than the Pros. People have complained that they stick out of your ears, but to me this helps them stay put and not move with your every movement. Fit is a very personal thing but, unlike the Shures, the Ultimate Ears IEMs stay in my ears even with the plastic tips and I don't even need the foam ones. I highly recommend them but you should try them out because a proper fit and seal is instrumental (pun intended) for music to sound right and for that much needed noise-block on the morning commute. I should say that from my experience Ultimate Ear IEMs are very durable--my Pros are still like new, whereas I had to replace my Shures E4--so that, and the exceptional sound quality and fit, should justify the high price. The replaceable cables are also a great idea.
