2 Star ReviewDecent card, lousy drivers
Strengths: Price
Weaknesses: dtivers, noise, support
Summary: I purchased this card because it was supposed to allow playing HD (high definition) videos on older single core computers. For normal use the card worked fine but getting it setup properly for HD use proved difficult. I was constantly changing drivers as when something was fixed in one driver revision something else was broken. Also ATI doesn't really support AGP in their newer drivers any more so you can't use the standard ATI drivers. The Visiontek specific driver need to be used instead and they aren't as up to date. Also the fan on the Visiontek card is noisy and can't be controlled with utilities like Rivatune to change its speed. For viewing HD material this card isn't worth it.

Strengths: great solution for old AGP users, DirectX 10
Weaknesses: not fanless, a little bit noisy hence not for HTPC
Summary: This card is the second newest ATI video card line which includes 2400, 2600 and 2900 series. It is the right purchase for the right price if you are looking for a card that can handle normal video decoding, mild gaming and etc. It is definitely a good upgrade if you are still using one of the old AGP motherboard and want to save most of your system.

Strengths: price, size
Weaknesses: a bit noisy
Summary: I have a older computer with a ATI video card but it was kind of slow when working with my home videos so I bought this card on the recommendation of a friend. It was easy to install and the drivers from my old video card worked fine with it so I didn't have to install new drivers. I has made editing my home videos a lot more snappy especially at high resolutions. I don't play games so I can't say how well it works for that. It is quite a bit more noisy that my old video card though.

Strengths: 512MB AGP card
Weaknesses: None that I can see.
Summary: I upgraded my video card from an ATI AIW 64MB to this 512MB video card. I can see a real performance boost with this upgrade. Previously, I'm getting memory errors while running Civilization IV at it's highest video settings. Now, I can play this game at full resolution without the card getting any hickups. This is a very good upgrade for my old AGP based machine.

Strengths: 512Mb DVI
Weaknesses: None
Summary: The card is great for playing games. The dual DVI output allows you to connect multiple monitors to be connected to the pc. The 512Mb ram helps to play games as it in onboard and does not need the computer memory to do graphics especially while gaming. this ia a very good AGP card for the price.

2 Star ReviewVisionTek Radion HD 2600 Pro 512mb AGP
Strengths: Great price
Weaknesses: It's fan can drown out a vacuum cleaner.
Summary: I found this card at a greatly reduced price and snatched it up. I was wondering why it was priced so aggressively, so I Googled it and found numerous threads with complaints of excessive fan noise to crashing the computer. The VisionTek Forum had reccommended a method of installation using a driver removal tool and updated driver software. Installation went without any snags. It is way too loud as others had stated. My PC case would vibrate and rattle. Sounds like an airplane revving it's engine for take-off. Next step is water cooling...there goes the bargain price!

1 Star Reviewsounds like a hurricane
Strengths: The graphic is good as expected for its HD capabilities. It has dual DIV interface.
Weaknesses: It has a fan and it is loud
Summary: The biggest weakness of this card is the huge amount of noise generated from the fan. You will wonder why they would build and market such a product. It is the noisiest card I have ever experienced. Unless your PC is in a very noisy place, do not buy it. I bought it for less than $25, but I end up returning it.
