Strengths: Close shave, easy to maintain, lasts long on single charge, lightweight, quiet, and cord-operation.
Weaknesses: No flexible head and device doesn't indicate level of battery charge (just flashes when device needs recharging).
Summary: I had a Panasonic Linear shaver prior to purchasing this one and was very satisfied. On purchasing this one, I was able to get a close shave on my initial try and there was no "adjustment period." I have a fairly tough beard and this shaver does a great job. It is fairly quiet in its operation and the unit is lightweight, which makes it easy to operate. One of the best features is the ability to wash it under the sink once you are done. No fancy lubricants, cleaning solutions, etc. that drive up the cost of operation. I have been very pleased with this machine. Two downsides: it does not have a flexible head, which some people like (I don't particularly need that feature) and the indicator lamp on the front doesn't show you the level of charge on a daily basis. It just flashes when you are in need of a recharge. However, because you can also operate it while the cord is plugged in, I don't have a problem with that. In fact, the ability to use the cord is excellent, especially when you are in a hurry and don't have time to wait for a charge up.
